Information about my Wightlink crossing

What time is check-in? When do I need to check in?

The latest check-in times are as follows:

  • Foot passengers must check in at least 15 minutes before departure.

  • Passengers with vehicles must check in 30 to 60 minutes before departure.

Where is the port? What is the port address? How do I find the port?

To help you find the port for your ferry, here are the port addresses for Wightlink:

  • Portsmouth Port Address: Portsmouth Car Ferry Terminal, Gunwharf Road, Portsmouth, PO1 2LA

  • Portsmouth Harbour Port Address (foot passengers only): Portsmouth Harbour FastCat Passenger Terminal, Portsmouth, PO1 3PS

  • Fishbourne Port Address: Fishbourne Car Ferry Port, Fishbourne Lane, Fishbourne, Isle of Wight, PO33 4EU

  • Lymington Port Address: Lymington Ferry Port, Undershore Road, Lymington, SO41 5SB

Can I travel with my pet on a Wightlink crossing?

Wightlink permits passengers to travel with pets (including guide dogs and assistance dogs) on all routes. There are two ways that pets can travel: in your vehicle, or in a pet-friendly area onboard. The availability of these options depends on the route, the ship, and whether you will be travelling with a vehicle.
