How do I check-in online for my ferry booking?

Find out if online check-in is available for your ferry booking and how to check-in online.

Some of our ferry partners offer the option to check-in online before you travel. This article will outline which ferry partners offer online check-in and explain the online check-in process for each ferry partner. Can I check-in online before I travel?

You can check-in online before you travel if your ticket is with one of the below ferry partners. If your ferry partner is not listed below, this means you will need to check-in when you arrive at the port.

How to check-in online

The online check-in process differs for each ferry partner. Follow the below steps and the additional ferry partner guidance to complete online check-in for your booking:

  1. Gather the following information:

    1. Your ferry partner reference number.

    2. Identity details for all passengers on your booking:

      1. First and last name

      2. Date of birth

      3. Document type (e.g. passport or identity card)

      4. Document number

      5. Document expiry date

      6. Issuing country

      7. Nationality

  2. Visit the online check-in page for your ferry partner (see the guidance below for the ferry partner link)

  3. Log in to the online check-in page. You will typically need your ferry partner reference number and either your email address, last name, or phone number to log in.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete online check-in.

Guidance for ANEK Superfast check-in

  • Online check-in for ANEK Superfast opens 48 hours before your departure.

  • Enter your ANEK reservation number and access code.

  • Check the general conditions box and click 'Web Check-in'.

Guidance for Blue Star Ferries check-in

  • Online check-in for Blue Star Ferries opens 48 hours before your departure.

  • Enter your Blue Star Ferries reservation number and access code.

  • Check the general conditions box and click 'Web Check-in'.

Guidance for Cyclades Fast Ferries check-in

Guidance for FRS check-in

  • Enter your FRS reference number and email address in the fields, and click 'Check-In'.

  • Check-in each passenger and add their document details

Guidance for Golden Star Ferries check-in

  • Online check-in for Golden Star Ferries opens 48 hours before your departure.

  • Enter your Golden Star Ferries reservation number and either the last name or phone number on your booking.

  • Click the 'Next' button.

Guidance for Minoan Lines check-in

  • Enter your Minoan Lines reservation number and your last name.

  • Select whether you want to download your e-ticket or send it by email.

  • Click 'Web check-in'.

Guidance for Naviera Armas and Trasmediterranea check-in

  • Online check-in for Naviera Armas and Trasmediterranea opens 14 days before your departure.

  • Enter your booking locator (Naviera Armas or Trasmediterranea reference number) and your identity document number (passport or ID card number) to log in.

  • Click 'Get Boarding Passes'.

Guidance for Seajets check-in

  • Online check-in for Seajets opens 48 hours before your departure.

  • Enter your Seajets reservation number and either the last name or phone number on your booking.

  • Click 'Next'.

Guidance for Sky Marine check-in

  • Online check-in for Sky Marine opens 24 hours before your departure.

  • Enter your passport number and the email address on your booking.

  • Click 'Find'.

Guidance for Trasmed GLE check-in

  • Online check-in for Trasmediterranea opens 7 days before your departure.

  • Enter your Trasmed GLE reference number in the box "Localizador", and your document number (Identity Card number or Passport number) in the box "Numero de documento"

  • Choose "Ida" if it is a one-way booking or "Vuelta" if it is a return booking.

  • Click "Obtener tarjetas".


Frequently asked questions about online check-in:

Can I change my booking if I have already completed online check-in?

If you have already completed online check-in you will need to contact us and click 'Talk to a person 👤' if you want to make changes to your booking. In some cases it may not be possible to make changes after online check-in has been completed.

Do I need to check-in online for my return sailing?

You do not need to repeat online check-in for your return sailing unless your return sailing is with a different ferry partner or you have two separate bookings for your outbound and return sailings.

Will I receive a boarding pass when I complete online check-in?

Some ferry partners will issue a boarding pass when you complete online check-in. If you do not receive a boarding pass in advance, it will be issued when you check-in at the port.
