Adding a pet to your booking
You can add your cat or dog to your booking in the same way you would add passengers. If you are travelling with a pet that isn't a cat or dog you will need to contact us and click 'Talk to a person 👤' to connect with an agent for assistance.
How to add a pet to your booking
Follow the below steps to add a pet to your booking:
Log in to your booking via My Account or Manage my Booking.
Select 'Change Booking' and then 'Change Booking Details'.
Select the number of pets from the 'Pets' dropdown box.
Re-enter any missing details in the booking form.
Click 'Search' to request availability and pricing.
Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the change.
Please double check your confirmation document to ensure that your pet is confirmed on your booking. If there are any discrepancies in your confirmation document please contact us and click 'Talk to a person 👤' to connect with an agent.
Why is the option to add my pet not available?
If the option to add a pet is not available, this either means:
Pets are not permitted on your travel route
Pets cannot be added via My Account or Manage my Booking and must be added by an agent

I have added a pet to my booking, do I need to do anything else?
If you have added a pet to your booking and received confirmation via email or from an agent, we recommend doing the following before you travel:
Familiarise yourself with the pet travel guidelines of the ferry partner you will be travelling with. You can do this visiting our ferry partner article collection in our help centre and searching for your ferry partner.
Familiarise yourself with the pet travel guidelines of the country you will be leaving and the country you will be travelling to. We suggest visiting their government websites for the latest guidelines.
Gather your pet's travel documentation, including microchip and vaccination details.
Booking pet accommodation
There are a variety of pet accommodation options available with most of the ferry partners we work with. Some of the options include pet-friendly cabins, pet lounges and kennels. The availability of these options depends on the route, the ship, and whether you will be travelling with a vehicle.
How to book pet accommodation
Follow the below steps to book pet accommodation:
Log in to your booking via My Account or Manage my Booking.
Select 'Change Booking' and then 'Change Booking Details'.
Re-enter any missing details in the booking form.
Click 'Search' to request availability and pricing.
Select your original sailing/s.
Choose your pet accommodation option.
Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the change.
Some pet accommodations can only be booked by an agent. If you can't see any pet accommodation options, or if you experience any issues, please contact us and click 'Talk to a person 👤' to connect with an agent.

Can I travel with my assistance dog or emotional support dog?
Each ferry partner has different guidelines for travelling with guide dogs, assistance dogs, and emotional support dogs. You will need to contact us and click 'Talk to a person 👤' for further information and to make the arrangements.
Do I have to prebook my pet or can I add it to my booking on the day of travel?
Most of the ferry partners we work with require pets to be prebooked. If you arrive at the port or terminal on the day of travel with an unbooked pet then you may not be allowed to travel. We suggest reviewing the pet travel guidelines by visiting our ferry partner article collection. If the ferry partner permits unbooked pets then this will be clearly stated.
Can I book a pet-friendly cabin for my pet?
You can book a pet-friendly cabin for your pet if there is availability on the sailing. Not all ferry partners offer pet-friendly cabins therefore availability will vary according to the route you are travelling on. You should contact us and click 'Talk to a person 👤' to request a pet-friendly cabin for your pet.
Can I upgrade the pet accommodation on my booking?
Upgrading the pet accommodation on your booking is subject to the travel options available on the sailing and the level of availability at the time of your request. Please contact us and click 'Talk to a person 👤' so we can discuss upgrade options and pricing.
Why is my pet not shown on my booking confirmation email?
If your pet is not shown on your booking confirmation email, this either means they have not been added to your booking or your booking confirmation has not been updated. Contact us and click 'Talk to a person 👤' to either add your pet or request an updated booking confirmation email.
