How to reset the password for your account

You can reset your account password if you are unable to log in to your account. You must have already created an account for the password reset to work. You can create an account after you have a confirmed booking.

How to request a password reset email

Follow the below steps to request a password reset email:

  1. Enter the email address on your account.

  2. Click 'Send reset link'.

  3. Check your email inbox for the email containing your password reset link.

Frequently asked questions about resetting your password:

How long is the password reset link valid for?

The password reset link is valid for 24 hours. If you have not reset your password within 24 hours then you will need to request a new password reset link.

Why has my password reset link expired when it's been less than 24 hours?

Additional reasons why a password reset link might expire include:

  • Requesting Multiple Links: If a new password reset link is requested, previously sent links are invalidated. Ensure you only use the most recent link.

  • Browser Cache Issues: Cached data or cookies in your browser can interfere with the reset link's functionality. Clearing your browser's cache and cookies may resolve this issue.

  • You did not set up an account during booking. Please contact us via our contact page.

If your password reset link has expired before 24 hours then you may be using a different website than the one you used to confirm your booking. If your booking was confirmed on AFerry.com then you will need to request a password reset email on AFerry.com. Alternatively, if your booking was confirmed on Ferrysavers.com then you will need to request a password reset email on Ferrysavers.com.

If you are not sure which website you used to make your booking, you can check your email confirmation. It will display either the AFerry logo or the Ferrysavers logo.

What should I do if the password reset link doesn't work?

To troubleshoot further:

  • Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Resolve potential browser data conflicts by clearing the cache and cookies, then try the reset link again.

  • Use an Alternate Browser or Device: Accessing the link through a different browser or device may help resolve the problem.

  • Check for the Latest Link: Ensure you are clicking on the most recently sent password reset link from AFerry.

If your password reset link doesn't work you can still access your booking via Manage my Booking. You will need your AFerry or Ferrysavers booking reference number and the email address you used to make the booking to log in via Manage my Booking. You should also speak to an agent if your password reset link doesn't work.

If you continue experiencing issues, consider switching to a different browser or device to access your reset link.
