Information about my Tallink and Silja Line ferry

What time is check-in? When do I need to check in?

The latest check-in times are as follows:

Tallinn

  • Check-in opens at 06:00 (local time).

  • Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure for all passengers.

  • Check-in closes 1.5 hours before departure for vehicle passengers travelling to Åland.

Helsinki West Terminal

  • Check-in opens at 06:00 (local time).

  • Check-in closes 1 hour before departure for vehicle passengers.

  • Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure for foot passengers.

Helsinki Olympia Terminal

  • Check-in opens from 14:45 to 16:40 (local times) for foot passengers and from 15:00 (local time) for vehicle passengers.

  • Check-in closes 45 minutes before departure for vehicle passengers.

  • Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure for foot passengers.

Stockholm

  • Check-in opens at 05:45 on Monday, 09:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 05:45 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (local times).

  • Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure for all passengers.

Turku

  • Check-in opens at 17:00 on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and at 10:00 on Wednesday (local times). Closed on Tuesday.

  • Check-in closes 45 minutes before departure for vehicle passengers.

  • Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure for foot passengers.

Mariehamn

  • Check-in opens at 12:30 (local time) for the Baltic Princess ship (Stockholm–Turku route).

  • Check-in opens at 22:45 (local time) for the Silja Serenade/Silja Symphony ship (Stockholm–Helsinki route).

  • Check-in opens at 00:00 (local time) for the Baltic Queen ship (Tallinn–Stockholm route).

  • Check-in opens at 03:45 (local time) for the Silja Serenade/Silja Symphony ship (Helsinki–Stockholm route).

  • Check-in closes 15 minutes before departure for all passengers.

Langnas

  • Check-in opens during the arrival and departure times of the ships.

  • Check-in closes 45 minutes before departure for vehicle passengers.

  • Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure for foot passengers.

Paldiski

  • Check-in opens 3 hours before departure.

  • Check-in closes 1 hour 15 minutes before departure.

Kapellskar

  • Check-in opens 3 hours before departure.

  • Check-in closes 1 hour 15 minutes before departure.

Can I travel with my pet on a Tallink and Silja Line crossing?

Tallink and Silja Line permits passengers to travel with pets on all routes except some special cruises. Guide dogs and assistance dogs can travel on all routes. There are three ways that pets can travel: in a pet-friendly cabin; in a pre-booked kennel, or in a pet carrier/cage. The availability of these options depends on the route and the size of the pet.
