Information about my crossing with Tirrenia

What time is the check-in? When do I have to check in?

The most recent check-in times are as follows:

Genoa port:

  • Foot passengers must check in 30 minutes before departure.

  • Vehicles must check in 120 minutes before departure.

All other ports:

  • Foot passengers must check in 30 minutes before departure.

  • Vehicles must check in 90 minutes before departure.

Remember that it is your responsibility to arrive at the port in time to have your tickets checked and undergo security checks. Tirrenia reserves the right to refuse access to the ferry if the check-in time has not been respected.

You must have a copy of your ticket before you check-in.

Are Tirrenia ferries running as normal?

Can I travel with my pet on a Tirrenia crossing?

Tirrenia permits passengers to travel with pets (including guide dogs and assistance dogs) on all routes. There are two ways that pets can travel: in a pet-friendly cabin or in designated pet-friendly areas on board. Pet-friendly cabins are subject to availability.
