Important information about your trip. Large parts of Denmark are from 19 July classified as red / orange. Do I need to wear a face mask?

Wearing a mask/face covering is mandatory from 31/12/2021 at the ferry terminals and in Danish waters.

Are Color Line ferries running as normal?

  • Dear colleagues, the measures taken by the authorities to combat the coronavirus outbreak will continue. This means that Color Line cannot take any guests on board in Germany up to and including June 30th. There is the possibility from June 9th. to travel from Oslo to Kiel. Up to and including June 23, the Oslo-Kiel route is only served by Color Magic, which departs from Oslo every other day. The Color Fantasy will be from June 24th. resume operations. You can find the updated timetable here. According to our booking system, at least one of your customers' trips is affected. If you can't travel now, we'd love to have you back on board later! We would therefore like to offer you the following: 1. Rebook your trip to a later date free of charge. If you need to change your dates again, you can do so up to 24 hours before departure.

Dear colleagues, In accordance with the Covid-19 regulations § 6a letter c, Color Line must temporarily suspend regular passenger traffic from Denmark to Norway up to and including 27.06.21. Can I get a credit note for my Color Line booking?

All customers that are due to travel with Color Line up until 14/07/20* are eligible to receive a credit note, of the same value, for future travel. The credit note must be redeemed and travelled by 31/12/20.

If you are travelling outside of this period then standard Color Line Terms and Conditions apply.

When does my Color Line credit note or voucher expire?

Color Line credit notes are valid for travel until 31/12/20.

What time is Check in? When do I need to check in?

Kiel - Oslo route:

  • Guests with vehicles should arrive no later than 120 minutes before departure.

  • Guests without vehicles should arrive no later than 60 minutes before departure.

Denmark - Norway routes:

  • Guests with and without a vehicle should arrive at least 60 minutes before departure.
