Information about my Finnlines crossing

What time is check-in? When do I need to check in?

The latest check-in times are as follows:

Travemünde - Helsinki:

  • Check-in opens at 20:30 and closes 2 hours before departure.

Travemünde - Malmö:

  • Departures at 21:45, 22:00, 02:45 and 03:00: Check-in opens 3 hours before departure and closes 1 hour before departure.

  • Other departures: Check-in opens 2 hours before departure.

Helsinki - Travemünde:

  • Check-in opens at 12:30 (afternoon) and closes at 14:00.

Naantali - Långnäs - Kapellskär:

  • Check-in opens 2 hours before departure and closes 1 hour before departure.

Långnäs - Kapellskär/Naantali:

  • All passengers should check-in at least 1 hour before departure.

Malmö - Travemünde:

  • Check-in opens 2 hours before departure and closes 1 hour before departure.

Kapellskär - Långnäs - Naantali:

  • Check-in opens 2 hours before departure and closes 1 hour before departure.

  • If you are travelling to the Åland Islands please arrive 90 minutes before departure.

You must have a copy of your ticket before you check-in.

Where is the port? What is the port address? How do I find the port?

To help you find the port for your ferry, here are the port addresses for Finnlines:

  • Travemunde Port Address: Skandinavienkai, Zum Hafenplatz 1, 23570, Lübeck-Travemünde

  • Helsinki Vuosaari Port Address: Vuosaaren satama, Hansaterminaali, Provianttikatu 5 (navigator: Seilorinkatu 5), 00980 Helsinki

  • Kapellskär Port Address: Kapellskär, 760 15 Gräddö, Sweden

  • Naantali Port Address: Naantali, Satamatie 9, 21100 Naantali

  • Malmo Port Address: Norra Hamnen, Lappögatan 3B, 211 24 Malmo

  • Långnäs Port Address: Långnäsvägen 656, 22630 Lumparland.

Are Finnlines ferries running as normal?

If you have entered your mobile number when you booked you will be updated by SMS if anything changes.

Can I travel with my pet on a Finnlines crossing?

Finnlines permits passengers to travel with pets (including guide dogs and assistance dogs) on all routes. There are four ways that pets can travel: in a pet-friendly cabin or on an outer pet-friendly deck. Booking a pet cabin is mandatory except on day departures on the Kapellskär-Långnäs-Naantali route.
