What time is check-in? When do I need to check in?

The latest check-in times for Hibernia line routes are below. Passengers who arrive after the check-in deadline will not be allowed to board.

  • Please arrive at least 2 hours before departure. Late arrival may result in a missed sailing. Check-in closes strictly 45 minutes before departure; late arrivals may be denied boarding.

Can I travel with my pet on a Hibernia line crossing?

We’re delighted to welcome your pet on board. To ensure a smooth journey, please make sure all mandatory travel requirements are completed before you arrive at the port. Pets travelling with Hibernia Line must have:

  • A valid EU Pet Passport or Animal Health Certificate

  • A functioning, registered microchip

  • A current rabies vaccination recorded in the passport/certificate

  • Tapeworm treatment, if required for your route

By continuing your booking, you confirm that your pet meets all applicable travel regulations. Please note that pets arriving without the correct documentation or treatments may not be permitted to travel.

Is there a luggage allowance? with Hibernia line?

There is no strict luggage allowance for passengers – you may bring as much luggage as you can carry. You must be able to manage your own luggage. Vehicles with luggage stored on the car deck will not be accessible during the crossing, so please ensure you take everything you need with you when leaving your vehicle
