From 4am, Monday 19th July, the government will no longer recommend against travel to amber list countries. Fully vaccinated passengers returning to the UK from Amber list countries (excluding France), including those who are under 18, will not need to quarantine on arrival in England or take a COVID-19 test on day 8. For further information read the announcement about the rule changes.

Some requirements will still remain in place regarding testing and passenger locator forms, therefore please ensure you are fully up to date with the changes and visit gov.uk for the latest travel requirements for entering England.

Until 19th July you must follow the current entry rules for the country you are travelling from, even if you have been vaccinated.

Everyone entering England from overseas (including UK nationals and residents), must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 1 days prior to direct departure to England and complete a Passenger Locator Form. Fill in your Passenger Locator Form up to 48 hours before arrival. You must declare all countries you have visited or transited through in the 10 days prior to your arrival on your Passenger Locator Form. Before departure, check the list of red, amber and green countries, as the list can change regularly.

In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, some countries require travellers to produce a negative COVID-19 test result on arrival, this includes France (must be a PCR test - not NHS), the Netherlands (must be a PCR test - not NHS, which needs to be printed and presented at check-in. The additional rapid test requirement is not currently required for travellers from the UK. This will only be required if you have travelled to the UK from countries classified as very high-risk), and Ireland (must be a PCR test - not NHS).

Please ensure that you check the government advice page for the country you're travelling to for the latest entry requirements, as these are changing all the time:
